Coping with Cancer
A presentation designed for cancer related patients, family members, caregivers and organizations.

In July of 2008, Kathy was diagnosed with metasitized breast and lymph node cancer. It became a year of revolving hospital doors and loss.

Laugh and cry along with Kathy as she shares hilarious events which occurred in the midst of her fears and how cancer fit into the 5 stages of her helicopter experience.

During this presentation you will identify and reflect on:
  1. When you were most optimistic - your life before the diagnosis
  2. When the unexpected happened - your thoughts, fears and unexpected medical events
  3. When you found yourself in muddy waters - what and who was helpful when you couldn't help yourself
  4. When you hung out there for the world to see  - did your inabilities to meet obligations affect your self-esteem
  5. When you survived - what helped, what didn't
  6. "What really matters?" - what is your purpose in life?
